Lisburn lights up for Christmas

Lisburn’s festive season kicked off with the annual switching on of the lights on Thursday, November 19 in the recently refurbished Market Square.

The family event included pre-parade entertainers, music from the main stage area, a lantern parade and a city centre light display.

The evening was compered by Pete Snodden, with entertainment by the City’s very own School Choir of the Year, Pond Park Primary and the local Dundonald Community Concert Band.

The Council will also be holding a series of events in Market Square and across the area throughout the festive season.
