Like father, like son at Crescent Link fire station
It's not every day a father and son find themselves on the same Breathing Apparatus training exercise.
That’s what happened to Firefighter John Jennings, based at Western Area Command Community Development Department and his son Firefighter Noel Jennings who is based at Crescent Link Fire Station recently.
Firefighter John Jennings joined the then Northern Ireland Fire Brigade in 1991 and his son Noel followed in his footsteps two years ago keeping the Firefighting tradition going within the Jennings family.
The training exercise was designed to refresh Breathing Apparatus techniques and involved Firefighters from Western Area Command.
