Libraries host children’s storytelling for Ghosts in the Glens Festival

Libraries NI has announced that three local libraries will be hosting storytelling events, especially for children, to celebrate this year’s Ghosts in the Glens Storytelling and Music Festival.

Ballycastle, Carnlough and Cushendall libraries will host these events on Saturday, October 21 from 11am to 11:45am.

Cushendall Library will host storyteller Peter Chand, Carnlough Library welcomes storyteller Karen Edwards and Ballycastle Library’s event is with storyteller Eamonn Keenan.

The Ghosts in the Glens Storytelling Festival takes place from October 19-22 and is organised by Antrim Glens Tourism. It aims to attract both tourists and local people for a four day celebration of the rich traditions of storytelling and music in the Glens of Antrim.

These events are suitable for children age 8 and under. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
