Jobs boost as car parts firm opens

Twenty-three new jobs have been created in the Portadown area with the opening of a car parts business.

Euro Car Parts (ECP), a leading UK distributor of car parts, have opened their latest branch at Diviny Drive, Carn Industrial Estate.

This is their fourth branch in Northern Ireland.

The new 6,500 sq ft, two-storey building will stock 14,000 lines of stock, as well as providing access to an additional 42,000 parts from the Castlereagh Hub which services the branch three times per day.

Eight vans will provide a six-day, 30-minute local delivery service to Portadown and Lurgan and hourly deliveries to the Armagh and Moira areas, as well as covering Banbridge, Dromore and Newry.

Martin Gray, chief executive of Euro Car Parts, said, “Portadown customers will benefit from ample free parking and an experienced sales team providing a warm, friendly welcome to help with identifying the correct part first time. The branch includes our quick channel Click & Collect counter.”

ECP specialise in all major car parts - brake pads, blades, batteries, bulbs and maintenance essentials such as engine oil and car fluids - which are all available to order online.

They also supply a large range of interior accessories such as Sat Navs, stereos and speakers.

For garages, Euro Car Parts offer a door-to-door delivery service six days per week. For consumers, car parts, tools and accessories are available at trade prices.
