People travelled from across Northern Ireland to celebrate cultural diversity in Coleraine at the weekend.
The Causeway Multi Cultural Forum (CMCF) organised the event which demonstrated unity and increased awareness and appreciation of the various cultures within the local area.
The International Culture Day, which was supported by the Housing Executive, was held at Coleraine Town Hall. It featured music and food from around the
world including Caribbean Reggae, Irish music, Polish songs, Ulster-Scots bagpipes and African drums.
Local youth groups and primary schools also joined in the festivities dancing and singing songs in various languages including Chinese.
Housing Executive Area Manager, Mark Alexander said: “Events like this help people to feel welcome within our community and we know that safe, affordable and secure housing supports integration.
“We were delighted to support this event and the Forum and to see people of all ages taking part.
“My congratulations go to all the volunteers and organisers for bringing such a wonderful event to Coleraine.”
