A HUGE stainless steel hog roast machine, the only one of its kind in Northern Ireland, was stolen from the back of a butcher’s shop in Sloan Street, on Friday.

It had been left out in the morning at 6.00am and it was noticed missing at around 9.30am.
The machine is described as a “coffin” shape with four wheels and is valued at £2500. It would require a trailer to move it. Police in Lisburn are investigating.
