Hillsborough gun salute marks Queen's birthday
The event took place in the charming setting of Hillsborough Fort and was well attended by the public.
The Council was also delighted to welcome the Lord Lieutenant for County Tyrone, Robert Scott, who was accompanied to the Fort by the Mayor Councillor Beckett, Mayoress Mrs Linda Beckett, Chief Executive Dr Theresa Donaldson and MP Jeffrey Donaldson.

Hide AdThe Band of the Royal Irish Regiment led guests to the Fort and entertained all those present with fabulous music including a rendition of Happy Birthday to Her Majesty.
The Royal Salute was fired at 12 noon and a fly-over was organised from 5 Regiment, Army Air Corps. The Lord Lieutenant inspected the 206 Ulster Battery with the Mayor and the crowds enjoyed musical performances from Drumlough Pipe Band and the Ulster Scots Agency Juvenile Pipe Band.
