Gillian completes firewalk for Cedar Foundation

Thirty courageous people from across Northern Ireland, including Coleraine woman, Gillian Thompson, walked across burning embers last month to raise money for the Cedar Foundation.

The Cedar Foundation delivers a range of services in Northern Ireland that enable children and adults with disabilities to be fully included in their communities.

The brave volunteers walk across 20 feetof wood embers burning at 1200° fahrenheit. Christine Tweedie from The Cedar Foundation said: “Thanks to Gillian Thompson and all the fearless participants who volunteered to take part in the firewalk.

“Everyone had a great time on the night and an amazing amount of money was raised for Cedar”.
