The station, which was granted a full time licence at the start of this month, has seen its audience reach far beyond the traditional borough of Ballymoney.

Presenter Brian Chestnutt told the Ballymoney and Moyle Times about how the popularity of the station is increasing.

Brian presents the evening Country Music show along with co-host Jordan Mogey.

“Jordan and I present the Country Music each evening from 9 pm to midnight.

“When we started we were getting messages and texts just from the Ballymoney area.

“Then we got a message from a listener in Donegal which we thought was great.

“After that, we were contacted by someone in Dover, right down in the south of England.

“But then we got the big one,” explained Brian.

“We got a message from someone in New Zealand which was incredible!

“We can only assume that they have some sort of family connection to the area.”

Brian and Jordan play a huge range of country music from Garth Brooks to the modern artists like Travis Tritt and Alan Jackson.

“Our motto is - if we hae it, we’ll play it,” said Brian.
