With a financial boost from community charity The Big Lottery Fund, they have been able to purchase a full class set.

That means the St Mac Nissi’s pupils will be introduced to a whole new technological world of graphic design and both movie and music production, to name just two of the new subjects now made feasible.

The iPads will also bring excellent numeracy and literacy based resources to the classroom to aid learning within the school.

Teachers also benefit, with an iPad for their own use in class. The super quick technology enables swift access to a variety of new visual aids specially designed for primary school children.

“Add to this our brand new laptops and St Mac Nissi’s Primary School is full equipped to lead the way in ICT-based education for many years to come,” said a spokesperson for the school.
