Fined £100 for £10 deal of cannabis
A 21-year-old man was fined £100 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for possession of cannabis resin on June 27.
Malcolm McKeown, with an address at Parkmore, Craigavon, was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that during a search of the defendant’s home address McKeown handed over seven grams of cannabis valued at approximately £35.
Mr Gabriel Ingram, representing the defendant, said McKeown would say he paid £10 and a very small amount of the drug was involved.
