WANT a fun-filled day with plenty to do and plenty to see?
If so, then Ballymoney Showgrounds is the place to be on Saturday, May 12.
Organised by Ballymoney Old Vehicle Club, the event has clearly been well thought out given the attractions on offer.
Billed as a Family Fun Day and incorporating the 2012 annual vintage rally, the proceedings get underway at 10.30 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. with attractions galore.
How’s this for a line-up:
Live music all day by Trevor Dickson, line dancers, Irish dancers, amusements, free pony rides, free archery, free face painting, ice-cream van.
Allied to this, visitors can enjoy seeing miniature farm animals, blacksmith demonstration, baking demonstration, indoor craft stalls, trade stalls, car boot sale.
And if you find yourself feeling peckish there will be teas, soup, barbecue and more available.
A small admission charge of £3 with kids under 16 going free. There’s car parking at no charge.
Exhibitors will play £3-£5 with Finishers Award.
The organisers are hoping for good support particularly as the event will aid breatheeasy, the British Lung Foundation Support Network.
