District police chairmanship for O'Loan
The appointment, for the period from December 2, 2010, to December 1, 2011, was made at last Monday night’s meeting of Ballymena Borough Council.
Speaking out after the decision, TUV councillor Roy Gillespie queried: “Will there ever be a time when the TUV would be chair of the DPP?”

Hide AdResponding, Council’s Chief Executive, Mrs Anne Donaghy said she understood the top position was decided on using the d’Hondt system of allocation but agreed to investigate further.
Mrs Donaghy was also asked by Cllr Beth Adger to find out how many TUV councillors were members of the DPP.
“If there are only meant to be so many from every party, then I think they (the TUV) are over their limit,” said Mrs Adger.
