Deaths in the community

The death took place peacefully at her home on February 29 of Margaret Elizabeth Millar, 49 Valley Lane, Waringstown.

She was the wife of George and mother of Keith and David.

Her funeral was on Friday to Holy Trinity Parish Church, Waringstown, followed by interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Dorothy (Dot) Greer

The death took place on March 4 of Dorothy (Dot) Greer from Deerpark, 18 Derryola Bridge Road, Aghalee.

She was a dearly loved sister of Betty, Brian, Olive, Helen, Kenneth and the late Margaret, Billy, Harriet and Jim.

She was the much loved aunt of Alan, Elizabeth, Valerie, Phyllis and her husband David and great aunt of Callum.

There was a family service on Wednesday followed by a service at Craigmore Methodist Church (Orken Lane, Aghalee). Burial was at the Middle Church Churchyard, Ballinderry.

Margaret (Maggie) Geary

Margaret Geary, formerly of 75 Francis Street, Lurgan died peacefully on March 1 at Aughnacloy House.

She was the wife of the late Daniel Geary.

Her funeral took place on Sunday to St Patrick’s Church, Derrymacash with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Paula Geraldine McGrann

After a long illness, the death has taken place of Mary Paula Geraldine McGrann, wife of Brian from The Glenn, Aghagallon.

She was the mother of the late Stephen, Peter, Kevin, Pauline, Eoin and Denise.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Patrick’s Church, Aghagallon with burial afterward at St Colman’s Cemetery in Lurgan.

Paula Reynolds

The death has taken place of Paula Reynolds, daughter of Roisin and Gary of Monbrief Walk, Taghnevan.

She was the much loved granddaughter of Felix and Maureen Reynolds and niece of Teresa, Alison, Seana, Rory and Mark.

Her funeral was on Tuesday to St Paul’s Church with interment afterward at St Colman’s graveyard.
