The search continues to find Northern Ireland’s top junior and senior school choirs - and one Ballymoney school is hoping to hit the right note with the judges.
Presented by John Toal and Ballymoney’s own Kerry McLean, and recorded at six venues across Northern Ireland, the second programme is on Sunday 22 March on BBC Radio Ulster at 2pm, culminating in a live final from the Ulster Hall on Sunday, April 26.
Competing for a place in the final in the second round, in the Senior category, the following schools will be competing for a place in the grand final: Ballyclare High School; Dalriada School, Ballymoney; Holy Cross College, Strabane and Loreto Grammar School, Omagh.
The competition is produced in association with the Ulster Youth Choir, and supported by the Arts Council for Northern Ireland (ACNI).
The winning choirs will help BBC Radio Ulster celebrate its 40th anniversary throughout this year and feature across a range of the station’s programming and events. Best wishes to Dalriada School!
