Suspected drugs arrest after male called Newtownabbey PSNI on separate issue

The arrest was made after officers responded to his call for help with a separate matter.

PSNI Antrim and Newtownabbey stated: “It’s probably not a good idea to smoke drugs when you know the police are calling at your house.

“Officers from Newtownabbey arrested a male on suspicion of possession of a Class A and Class B drug with intent to supply yesterday. This occurred when police were assisting the male who had phoned police regarding a separate issue.”
