A man charged with stabbing a person with a ‘makeshift spear’ in the area of St John’s Catholic Church in Coleraine has had his case further adjourned until October.
Nathan Robert McIntyre (20), of Weavers Court in the town, is alleged to have maliciously wounded a man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.
He is further charged with possessing an offensive weapon, referred to on the charge sheet as a makeshift spear, with intent to wound.
McIntyre is also accused of assaulting another male and damaging a car wing mirror belonging to a third person on the night of Friday June 24 this year. A prosecutor told Coleraine Magistrates Court a full file in the case should be complete soon.
