Serious assault in Claudy
THE Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following a serious assault in the Main Street area of Claudy village on Saturday night last. May 28.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: “It was reported that a 20-year-old male and an 18-year-old male were assaulted by a group of males shortly before 2am. The 20-year-old male received a cut to his head requiring 18 stitches and the 18 year old male received scratches to his face.
Anyone who has any information or who was in the area at the time of the assault is asked to contact police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000.
