Newtownabbey police focus on anti-social behaviour in Mayfield and Aylesbury areas

Police have carried out an information leaflet drop in areas of Newtownabbey following recent reports of anti-social behaviour.

Officers from the neighbourhood policing team were joined by the Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Noreen McClelland and a representative from the borough’s Policing and Community Safety Partnership.

A Police Antrim and Newtownabbey spokesperson stated: “A leaflet drop was carried out in the residential areas of Mayfield and Aylesbury in response to community concerns, in particular anti-social behaviour.

“The leaflets provide some useful information in relation to the PCSP text alert and neighbourhood watch schemes.”
