Man accused of fraud and theft to appear in court today

A 38-year-old man has been charged with fraud and theft offences relating to incidents in Gilford and Craigavon.

Officers in District Policing, Crime Support Team charged the man with 31 offences of fraud by false representation and theft relating to incidents across Northern Ireland.

They include incidents specifically in Gilford, Sprucefield, Dungannon, Cookstown, Craigavon, Lisburn, Bangor, Castlereagh, Carrickfergus and Belfast between 17 May and 23 June, 2014.

He will appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court today, 1 July.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
