Crankill Road speed limit

Police are reminding drivers of the temporary 50 mph speed restriction on the Crankill Road, Ballymena.

The temporary limit is to facilitate road resurfacing and to protect road workers and other drivers.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Local police are concerned at the number of drivers ignoring the 50mph limit despite the clear signage. So, police will be paying extra attention in an effort to bring speeds down. The safety camera van will also be present in the area.”
