Craigavon Judge leaves after ten years

District Judge, Mr Alan White, has left Craigavon Magistrates Court to take up a new position in Antrim.

He completed a ten year stint at the local courthouse last Friday.

Judge White expressed his gratitude to the local solicitors and court staff for all help down the years.

“I was originally to come here for five years but I liked it so much I stayed for ten,” he said. “I would like to thank you all for your support.”

Mr Richard Monteith, on behalf of local solicitors, expressed his thanks to Judge White.

He said Mr White had done his best to be fair to all sides which at times was a difficult task.

A member of the court staff also thanked Judge White.
