This donation was made possible by Costcutter customers purchasing a specific range of products from their local store. These products are branded with the Making A Difference Locally logo and a percentage from each sale was donated to the charity.

Costcutter store owner Philip Bell commented “By participating in this scheme, I am really pleased we have been able to help a local school so important to many people in our community.”

The MaDL charity was formed in May 2008 with the intention of assisting more than 2000 independent retailers throughout the UK with raising money for their local communities.

The money donatedhas been used to purchase reading books for Primary classes 3 & 4.
