Continuing bail for man who had taser device
A COLERAINE man has been released on continuing bail on a number of charges, including having a taser gun.
Brian Darrell Hayes (37) of Weavers Court, will appear before Antrim Crown Court on February 27, following a preliminary inquiry at North Antrim Magistrates’ Court last Friday.
Hayes is charged with arson with intent to endanger life, criminal damage, possession of a class ‘B’ drug and possessing an offensive weapon, namely a taser type device.
The charges relate to an incident in Coleraine on April 16 last year.
As part of Hayes’ bail conditions he has been placed on a curfew and must report to police twice a week.
