Concert raises hundreds of pounds for charity

A concert, which was held recently in Hagues Bar in Lisburn, raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

The concert, organised by After Dark Promotions, featured the talents of acclaimed band Legacy, whose frontman Stevie K hails from Lisburn.

The crowd were thrilled with the performances on the night and the concert raised a fantastic £700 for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.

A spokesperson for After Dark Promotions thanked everyone involved in making the concert a great success. “After Dark promotions would like to thank the guys from Legacy and to the people who came and supported us, to have some fun and raise some funds,” he said. “Thank you so very much.”

He went on to say: “Stevie K, Stevie Prosser, Steve Nimmon and the other Stevie’s in the band Stevie Leo Rice, Stevie Rab Beggs and Stevie Brian Moore - the gig was awesome guys. You knocked it outta the park! Your musicianship is second to none. “Thanks to Dave Lamont for his help and support supplying the PA and sound. Thanks also to the support acts The Hooligans, Josh Healey and Louie McDonald, to Hagues Bar for the venue and to the After Dark Promotion Girls Lorraine, Edith, Karen and Gillian for collecting the money.

“Thank you all again for your time your voices and your support,” he added.

Hagues Bar also had Spanish night and raised a further £100, which they donated to the NICFC. In total £700 was raised for the NI Cancer Fund for Children.
