Come on You Champions!

This year’s Holiday Bible Club run by the United Parish of Ballymoney, Finvoy & Rasharkin had a sporting “Champions Challenge” theme.

A dedicated team of 28 helpers led an enthusiastic group of over 100 children in discovering Gods love, who Jesus is, what He did on earth as a man and why his death and resurrection are so important to us.

The week long programme crammed full of games, crafts, drama and bible stories focussed each day on a different facet of who Jesus is through the roles of the Selector and Trainer, Physio and Teammate, Substitue, Winner and Champion. Loosely based on preparing for the 2012 Olympics, the groups were divided into five country teams and each team “dug out” encouraged the children to work together for their team.

Holiday Bible Club Coordinator Sinead Bond would like to thank everyone who took part and is looking forward to our fun packed Sunday School programme commencing on the 11th September.
