The Old Mill in Cloughmills is slowly being rejuvenated into a resource for the whole community thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Community Action Team.
The Community Action Team has transformed the area to the rear of the buildings into a significant community food growing area, complete with polytunnels, yurt, raised beds and composting toilet!
Ballymoney Borough Council has just completed a major entrance feature which now boasts an imaginative playground and planting to enhance biodiversity on the site.
A new boardwalk permits easy access along the river for people of all ages.
The Community Action Team are hosting three events at the Mill which offer the village and wider community an opportunity to explore what’s happening at the site and learn about the overall vision for the area.
