Children children in every thousand protected
SIX children in every thousand are on the child protection register in the Western Health and Social Care Trust (WHSCT) area.
In Belfast 8.9 children per 1,000 of the child population were registered protected by the middle of 2008. In the South East 6.9 were on the register; in the South 4.6; and in the North 3.4.
