Carrick dog walker’s encounter with Castle Green otter

Stephen Brennan told the Carrick Times: “I was amazed to see an otter on Tuesday morning while walking my dog on the Castle Green in Carrickfergus.”

The otter, on the other hand didn’t appear too fazed by the meeting.

“(I) was wondering if any of your readers could tell me anything more about what it would have been doing there, is this normal behaviour and why it didn’t seem particularly perturbed by my presence?”
