Cancer Focus NI says '˜clear out' for Easter!

If your home is cluttered with unwanted clothes, ornaments, books and bric-a-brac, why not have an Easter clear-out and donate your pre-loved goods to charity?

Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is urging people to have a late spring clean over the coming weeks – and at the same time help raise vital funds for local cancer patients and their families.

Your local Cancer Focus NI charity shop at Coleraine will welcome your donations of quality clothing, accessories, books, CDs/DVDs, toys and knick-knacks with open arms.

Angela McGrath, Cancer Focus NI Head of Retail, said: “I love the changing seasons – it gives you an excuse to have a good old weed out and get rid of the things you haven’t looked at in ages. Instead of leaving your unwanted bits and pieces gathering dust, the customers in our charity shop would be delighted to give them a new home.

“Our shop is really popular with thrifty shoppers and stylish people who love a vintage look, so we need to continually re-stock our shelves with desirable bargains. We offer a full range of goods at a fraction of their original price but we need continued support from the local community to make donations to help meet the high demand.

“So when you’re spring cleaning please think of us. Your donations will contribute to cancer services and help local people who have been affected by the disease,” she said.

“If you have never been to our charity shop, drop in today and you’ll discover a high street gem. Whether you’re looking for vintage chic, retro trends, smart tailoring or a special gift – they have everything you need for your must-have collection.”
