Broughshane WI
MEMBERS of Broughshane Women’s Institute met for their February meeting in Broughshane Community Centre.
The Institute has raised funds to support music therapy at the Palliative Care Unit at Antrim Area Hospital and Treasurer of Broughshane WI, Margaret Logan, presented the proceeds to Shirley Montgomery and Pat Davey who told members of the great benefits music therapy offers to children in this unit and their families.
Following the business meeting, an entertaining and informative talk was provided by Exclusive Beauty, Main Street, Broughshane, with WI members being advised on skin care and skin care products.
The girls from Exclusive Beauty pampered several of the members with facials and skin care treatments during what proved to be a very relaxing evening.
