Bready Ulster Scots take 3rd

BREADY Ulster Scots Pipe Band took 3rd place in the County Fermanagh Pipe Band Championships.

Bready Ulster Scots Pipe Band under the direction of Pipe Major Alan Campbell, Pipe Sergeant Robert Campbell and Drum Sergeant Martin Campbell, travelled to Enniskillen on Saturday, May 28, 2011.

A total of 11 bands competed in Grade 4A in cold and windy but dry conditions. Bready Ulster Scots took the third place slot on piping preference behind Syerla and District and the Major Sinclair Memorial.

The Bready outfit put in a performance that they know can be better and aim to improve on this result at The County Antrim Championships at the Showgrounds in Ballymena on Saturday, June 4, 2011.

The band will be competing across Northern Ireland and Scotland for the remainder of the season and welcome any learner players for next season. Anyone interested in learning to pipe or drum should contact Allen Fleming on 07933477695.
