BLOOMS Florists, Victoria Street, Ballymoney has a luxurious Easter basket for one lucky winner containing a large Easter egg, chocolate lollipops, chocolate eggs and a plush teddy bear.
Entrants must pick one of the 100 squares on a grid to enter, proceeds of which go to Macmillan Cancer Support. This represents the 100 years that the charity has been established and costs £1 to enter.
Siobhan Lyttle of Blooms explained: ”The idea of an Easter basket to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support came from my husband. He does a lot of work for the charity and asked me to put a hamper in the shop to promote them.”
Blooms Florists has been open for 28 years, selling flowers that suit all budgets for occasions such as weddings, funerals, birthdays and anniversaries. Beautiful gift ideas are also available that contain teddy bears and chocolates.
Siobhan added: ”Four members of Blooms Florists’ staff, including myself, are participating in the Race for Life 5K in Coleraine on 2th June. Many families are affected by cancer and I think it’s a brilliant opportunity to to raise money for Cancer Research UK. I am determined to run the entire race and have been training hard. Therefore, I would be very grateful if people would sponsor me to run the Race for Life.”
