Over 80 Lidl NI staff formed 15 relay teams and 12 solo runners in the Belfast City marathon to raise money for its charity partner Cancer Focus NI.
Four of those were staff members from our local Ballymoney store.
A phenomenal £3,450 was raised for the charity’s Keeping Well service – a mobile unit that brings health checks and one-to-one health awareness sessions to workplaces and community venues across Northern Ireland.
Adam Wilson, Ballymoney Lidl NI store manager said: “The staff from our store were delighted to have taken part in this marathon feat for our charity partner, Cancer Focus NI.
“I would like to thank them all for getting involved and to all our customers, friends and family who donated. The total raised will help the charity continue to deliver its vital health check service on board its Keeping Well vans to local people in our area.”
