Police searched a house under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Donaghbrook Gardens area of Ballymoney on Monday 06 October. A small amount of suspected cannabis plant trimmings was uncovered. No arrests were made.

Police arrested a man in the Frosses Road area on suspicion of breaking his bail conditions in the early hours of Thursday 09 October. Police are responsible for ensuring that bail conditions are kept and court directions complied with.

Police are investigating a suspected assault on a man in the Main Street area of Ballymoney. The man is thought to have been assaulted at around 10pm on Friday 10 October. He suffered head injuries which are not thought to be life threatening. Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity at the time of the incident is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101.

Police are investigating a suspected burglary in which two laptops and a mobile phone were stolen. The items were taken from a house in the Leaney Terrace area of Ballymoney on Saturday 11 October after a kitchen window was broken and access gained. Police are asking that anyone who might know anything about the burglary call them on the non-emergency number 101.

Police seized two vehicles in the Ballymoney area last week for having no insurance. Police are clear that when people drive without a valid insurance policy, a zero tolerance approach will be will be taken and the vehicle seized where possible.
