The Lord Lieutenant of County Antrim has described Ballymoney Borough Council as being one of the friendliest, most courteous and efficient councils she has ever worked with.
Speaking at a civic reception in the Town Hall to mark the final days of Ballymoney Council before it joins the new Causeway Coast and Glens ‘super’ council, Mrs Joan Christie heaped praise on both staff and councillors and said that out of the nine councils in County Antrim, Ballymoney was, in her opinion, the best.
“I have attended numerous functions down the years in Ballymoney and was always treated with dignity and respect by both staff and councillors, something which I will never forget,” she said.
She congratulated the council on what had been accomplished down the years . See inside for more.
