Apprentices head to WorldSkills 2015
Three local apprentices have secured a place on the UK squad for the WorldSkills 2015 Sao Paulo competition.
All three attend the Southern Regional College. Brendan Magee will be in the Painting and Decorating category while Shane Branagan and Gary Doyle will be in the plumbing category..
WorldSkills is the largest international skills competition in the world. Held every two years, the competition sees around 1,000 young people, aged 18-25, from all over the world come together to compete in more than 40 different skills such as electrical, car painting, web design and plumbing.
