A Dublin landlord is asking Ballymoney and Moyle Times readers for information regarding a local man who died just before Christmas.

Walter Naughton contacted the Times and explained that a tenant of his, a Patrick McCloskey, died in the Mater Hospital in Dublin on December 21st.

Mr McCloskey had lived in a flat belonging to Mr naughton in the Dublin suburb of Phibsborough.

Mr Naughton said: “He never spoke of any relatives and had only a few friends.

“He was a very quiet, inoffensive and private man.”

One thing Mr Naughton did know about Patrick McCloskey is that he was born in the Ballymoney area in 1936.

“I am in possession of his birth cert and a photograph,” Mr Naughton added.

“This is a labour of good will for Paddy McCloskey as maybe someone in County Antrim might like to know his whereabouts.”

If any of our Ballymoney and Moyle Times readers might know of Patrick McCloskey or any of his relatives, Mr Naughton would like to hear from you.
