All-star charity country show in Hillsborough Village Centre

HILLSBOROUGH Village Centre opens its doors for a spectacular night of country music on Wednesday, June 8 and all for a worthy cause.

All proceeds from the ‘Gala All-Star Country Show’ will be in aid of the Liver Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast.

Organisers Mr and Mrs Campbell Graham from Lisburn, in association with Sean Wallace Promotions, have secured a super line-up of artists for the event.

On stage will be local country singer Boxcar Brian singing his smash hit singles ‘Scania 143 Song’ and ‘Give me 40 acres to turn this Rig Around’; Yodelling King Kenny Archer, the glamorous Lisa McHugh from Scotland, who was voted ‘Best Country Newcomer’ in the recent ‘Northern Ireland Country Music Awards’; the sensational Joe Moore, the true voice of Country Music; the dynamic Tracey McAuley from the popular group ‘The Barroom Buddies’ and teenage guitar wizard Chris Braniff, known as the Young Shadow.

Providing all the musical backing for all the acts will be the brilliant Country Harmony direct from Hugo Duncan’s BBC Radio Ulster Outside Broadcast Shows.

Making a special guest appearance local singer/songwriter Maurice Soye and host and compere for the evening is Sean Wallace, who guarantees a superb night of Country Music.

Doors open at 7.15pm and the show starts at 8.00pm.
