Action Cancer family service

THE Lisburn Action Cancer Group annual Family Service of Celebration and Praise shall take place in Trinity Methodist Church, Knockmore Road, Lisburn on Sunday, December 2, at 3pm followed by refreshments at 4.30pm.

This popular festive event features a wide range of talent including the Brownlee School Choir, Lisnagarvey Operatic Society, First Old Boys Silver Band and soloist Lynne McAllister.

Chair of the Lisburn Action Cancer Group Olive Fraser said: “This special event truly captures the spirit of Christmas.

“There are a host of great performers and the opportunity for those attending to also join in singing popular carols,” she added.

Everyone is welcome and there is no entrance fee.

Organisers will be delighted to accept any donations which will be used wisely to advance the work of Action Cancer

Action Cancer is Northern Ireland’s leading local cancer charity working to save lives and support people affected by cancer in Northern Ireland.

It relies heavily on donations from the public and business communities in Northern Ireland to provide a range of vital, life-saving services including digital breast screening services (for women aged 40-49 and 70+), MOT health checks, counselling, complementary therapy, Listening Ear Service and health promotion.
