3 officers incourt over sex assaults
THREE police officers were charged at court with rape or sexual or indecent assault since 2009, it’s been revealed.
One officer was found guilty of indecent assault and tendered his resignation prior to sentencing.
In a statement of response to a Freedom of Information request the PSNI explained: “Three officers have been charged at court with rape or sexual or indecent assault since 2009.
“One officer has been charged with rape and two counts of sexual assault, one officer has been charged with sexual assault and one officer has been charged with indecent assault.”
