Local food and drink producers have seen a catastrophic disruption to their normal business and have had to look at innovative ways to reach the local market. Many have set up online ordering and home delivery schemes which are being actively promoted through the Taste Causeway e-shop www.tastecauseway.com. Craft brewer Lacada are supplying beer online through local off-licence Fairleys, Broighter Gold have ramped up their online shop with discounts and delivery promotions, Broughgammon Farm are doing a selection of boxes and local peanut butter company Taste Joy got their online deliveries up and running just last week and Warkes Deli provide home delivery of many Taste Causeway products through their Facebook site.
