An exhibition featuring ‘100 Famous Sons and Daughters of the Causeway Coast and Glens’ is now available to view online.

Wednesday, 5th May 2021, 10:33 am

The list, selected from public nominations, is part of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s Northern Ireland 100 programme marking the centenary of Northern Ireland.

Council’s NI 100 Working Group, supported by local historians, shortlisted 100 people who were born or lived within the Borough, and whose achievements over the last century are worthy of recognition.

The exhibition helps to tell a story about the people of our Borough while highlighting their contribution to the first 100 years of Northern Ireland.

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Alderman Mark Fielding, NI 100 Working Group Chair Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan and Dr Andrew Charles launch the ‘100 Famous Sons and Daughters of Causeway Coast and Glens’ online exhibition at Downhill beach
