Loveable Andy searching for the perfect home

LOVEABLE five-year-old Andy is this week’s Star Dog of the Week.

Andy has been at Dogs Trust Ballymena for a year now, and is still waiting to find his forever home with a loving new family. Unfortunately he is finding kennel life a bit stressful so would appreciate a new relaxing home environment where he can stretch his legs.

He is definitely a home-body and is much calmer at home as seen when one of the members of staff took him back with her for a few days.

He is happy to live with other dogs, is fully housetrained and is okay on short car journeys.

As with most dogs if there is a tasty treat on offer he will do anything to get it!

Ideally Andy would like an adult only home, with experienced dog owners who may even be able to offer him a four-legged friend to keep him company.

He is a lovely little guy and those at Dogs Trust can’t wait for him to find his perfect family, so if you think that could be you, come and meet him.

• Last week’s Dog of the Week, the beautiful Roxy, a four-year-old Westie and Lhasa Apso cross, is still continuing to search for a loving new home despite interest throughout this week. Those at Dogs Trust have quickly fallen for the little lady and they certainly have their ‘paws’ crossed that she finds a nice new home soon.
