Lisa’s on song for Tullyglass

LISA McHugh is continuing to reach for the stars and within the past month two prestigious awards have helped to cement her mushrooming popularity.

So when she takes to the stage with her band at the Tullyglass on Saturday night she will understandably be in celebratory mood.

But while delighted with the success which is coming her way, Lisa remains firmly grounded as she prepares to embark on a hectic schedule of dates that will take her to all parts of the country.

“I am looking forward very much to visiting different areas and I am conscious that we need to maintain the level of performances that we have been delivering,” Lisa said.

She added: “We are very grateful for the loyalty that people have been showing towards us and we feel that the best way we can repay this is by performing to our optimum.”

The success of her debut album “Dreams come to life” projected Lisa into the national spotlight and helped her win the prestigious Female Vocalist of the Year award in Scotland as well claiming the Sunday World Female vocalist of the Year accolade.

On the occasion of her last visit to the Tullyglass Hotel Lisa attracted a huge crowd and the indications are that it will be a case of same again on Saturday night.

Lisa added: “We are looking forward to seeing many familiar faces at the Tullyglass on Saturday night and we will be featuring a lot of the material which we have recorded just recently.”
