June 9 date for Mount Druid Rally at Ballintoy

THE date for one of North Antrim’s most successful social events, the Mount Druid Vintage Rally at Ballintoy, has been announced.

The rally attracts a huge crowd to the beautiful surroundings of the Rectory Grounds at Ballintoy and this year will see even more people flocking to the venue.

For the organisers are celebrating the tenth anniversary of the rally and June 9 promises to be a special date.

People come from all over Northern Ireland for an event that invariably attracts brilliant weather and that is one of the reasons why it has become a must for hundreds.

The official start time is 11 a.m. and it will run until 4 p.m.

Organisers say this will be the biggest rally so far in honour of the tenth anniversary.

Current plans to have animals, machinery, stalls, amusements, crafts and games are well underway.
