Fun and laughter at Seafront

There will be laughter on the seafront this Sunday night in the lead up the Lammas Fair.

Comedian Kevin McAleer is one of the founding fathers of modern standup, but he is still writing and performing his unique brand of nonsense like a headless spring chicken.

Well known throughout Ireland and the UK, he raised the roof off the Royal Festival Hall in London last summer prompting Chortle UK to remark ‘most of his set was spent waiting for people to finish laughing.’

The Arts Officer for Moyle District Council said ‘Kevin Mc Aleer has been spouting nonsense for a living for the last thirty years and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. This is a unique opportunity to see him in the intimate setting of the seafront marquee in Ballycastle.’

The marquee will host The Ballycastle Town Market on Sunday 11-4pm and St George’s Market on both days of the Lammas Fair.

Kevin Mc Aleer is on Sunday 26th August, 2012 in The Marquee, Ballycastle Seafront at 8.30pm.Tickets are £6. Special offer : 4 tickets for £20. Advance purchase of tickets is recommended. Tickets may be purchased by calling in to Ballycastle Tourist Information Centre, Tel:028 20762024 or email :
