Christmas lights switch-on in Balnamore next week

Santa will be arriving in a sleigh to get Balnamore’s celebrations underway with Balnamore Primary School choir welcoming him in.

Mince pies and other delicacies will be served in Balnamore Community Centre with entertainment provided by children from Balnamore Primary School as well as the community choir that has been practising hard over the last couple of months, supported by Denise Rosborough of the Barazina Youth Choir.

Samuel McCaughan, Chairperson of Balnamore Community Association said: “The Christmas lights switch on is a great opportunity to people to come out and share some festive cheer. It’s been a great year for Balnamore with the opening of our new community centre and we would like everyone in the village to come out and enjoy themselves and make the community centre their own.”
