Pat, who also took a break from the bike to belt out some well-loved songs, received moral support form Barney Green, who organised a disco on the day, and Joe Cardwell, who also sang.

food.

Said Pat, “It was a fantastic day and we raised an incredible amount of money. I want to thank everyone who supported me - all the people and companies mentioned as well as Colombia Gym and First Training Academy,

“Martin Walsh and Linda Martin from Rushmere were also very helpful, as was my family with a special mention for my granddaughter Aoife Stones.”

Pat’s challenge was 130 miles in 20 days on the cross trainer, most of which was completed in the gym. Donations can still be made by logging on to justgiving-Big Pat’s Cross Trainer Challenge.
