Representatives from Henderson Retail-owned EUROSPARs, including Carrick Milestone, held their latest monthly meeting at the charity’s Daisy Lodge short break facility in Newcastle. They also got the chance to tour the premises and enjoy a delicious lunch.

Sorcha Chipperfield, Cancer Fund for Children Corporate fundraiser, said: “This money will help the charity provide practical, emotional and financial support for local children with cancer and their families.

“It will also help us continue to offer our free therapeutic short breaks – a vital opportunity for exhausted families before, during and after cancer treatment.

“It was lovely for EUROSPAR staff to come to Daisy Lodge, they were very moved by the tour and delighted to see their money is going to such an amazing place. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to and took part in this fundraising.”
